Between January, the 22nd and February, the 4th “Tales from the golden age” (1&2) will be screened with English and French subtitles for the residents of Bucharest who don`t speak Romanian (but speak English or French).

The screenings with English subtitles will take place at the Horia Bernea Studio of the Romanian Peasant Museum (Muzeul Taranului Roman – MTR – Sos.Kiseleff, no.3), as follows:

Tales from the golden age 1:
  • Friday (January, the 22nd ) – starting with 8.30 p.m

  • Saturday (January, the 23rd ) and Sunday (January, the 31st )– 6.30 p.m.

  • Saturday (January, the 30th) – 4.30 p.m.

Tales from the golden age 2:
  • Sunday (January, the 24th) – 4.30 p.m.

  • Tuesday (January, the 26th) and Friday (January, the 29th) – 8.30 p.m.

The screenings with French subtitles will take place at the Elvire Popesco cinema of the French Institute (Institutul Francez din Bucuresti – Bd.Dacia, nr.77), as follows:Tales from the golden age 1:
  • Friday (January, the 22nd), Wednesday (January, the 27th) and Thursday (January, the 28th) – 6.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m.

  • Saturday (January, the 23rd) and Sunday (January, the 24th) – 4.00 p.m. / 6.00 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Tales from the golden age 2:

  • Friday (January, the 29th), Monday-Thursday (February, the 1st – February, the 4th) – 6.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m.

  • Saturday (January, the 30th) and Sunday (the 31st) – 4.00 p.m. / 6.00 p.m. / 8.00 p.m.

“Tales from the golden age” was the most viewed Romanian movie in 2009. The collective project coordinated by Cristian Mungiu depicts on screen the funniest urban legends from Romania from the 80`.
