Image Years ago I lived in a foreign country for one year. My contacts with my memories from home, with my native language and culture were a few books that I took with me and a collection of photography. How good was to have those books with me when feeling far away.

Few months ago, one of my friends, originary from France, but working and living in Bucharest for the last three years has given me a couple of boxes full with books. He had to leave the country because of his work and move to Italy for the next years. He took almost everything with him but not the books because he had not enough space in the luggage. We had a little chat and we both agreed to give a second life to his books.

Many foreigners are relocated to Romania for some time. They live here, work here then leave to their next destination. During their stay in Romania they gather a lot of things, memories, they learn about Romanian culture, they share their culture with their co-workers. But there comes a moment when one must leave for its next professional challenge and our expats we’ll have to choose between leaving a part of their books here or sell them to someone interested. This is were we step in: to collect/buy books so that these books became available to others wishing to find them (this is the first step in our business. We intend to expand this business in the future).

Why not let someone else to regain its own feeling of being home with the help of your books? Why not give someone else the opportunity to learn more about another culture from your old books? We find new homes for old books, for books you have to leave them in your trip to the next destination.

A book is not just a book. A book doesn’t end its warranty tomorrow. Its story, its value is long lasting and yes...Reading can help anyone to make this world a better place. We strongly believe in this. Do you?

Do you have books you don’t need anymore? Have your kids grown up? What about their books? Have you been relocated outside Romania? Do you have to let here any books that have been food for your mind or soul? Let us know. We will make the perfect match with the next happy reader.
