The New York Times International Weekly comes for free as a supplement of the Romania Libera every Friday. The Weekly supplement, offered in 31 newspapers from 28 countries, announces a re-launch that aims to boost readership for the "flagship" New York Times. The makeover includes a "more streamlined" design, new typography, a new article called Lens that would feature analysis of popular issues and material from contributing journalists with further analysis on their respective markets. The European Media and Marketing Survey 2008 found that both The New York Times International Weekly and The International Herald Tribune, who are both owned by The New York Times Media Group, have a total readership of 1.3 million "among Europe's high earners", making them the most popular before other pan-regional daily, weekly and fortnightly titles.
