If you want to study Romanian for your business, for your job or for fun, the language courses given by the Romanian Cultural Institute are the right choice! Modules: Courses for beginners, intermediate and advanced learners. The study groups comprise 8-10 students. Bonus: Conferences on Romanian culture and civilization given in English by public and cultural personalities. Duration: 2 months (May 6th – June 26th 2008) – 36 study hours (Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6.30 PM to 8.30 PM) Application deadline: May 2nd 2008 Location: “Alexandru Vlahuţă” Secondary School, Str. Şcoala Floreasca nr. 5 (Calea Dorobanţi area) . (Important: Classes take place only at the school’s headquarters). Instructors: Ilinca Tapuru graduated the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, specialization Russian Language and Literature - Romanian Language and Literature. She graduated the Master on Russian Cultural Studies and Business Communication and the second Master "Culture and Mentality in the European Integration of Romanians". Ilinca Tapuru works to the Department for Student's Services from the University of Bucharest and to Center Eudoxiu Hurmuzachi for the Romanians from everywhere. She has experience in teaching Romanian Language for Foreigners. Gabriela Stoica graduated the Faculty of Letters, University of Bucharest, Romanian-Latin section. She is assistant at the Faculty of Letters, University of Bucharest, the Department of Romanian Language (for foreigners), research assistant at the Linguistic Institute of the Romanian Academy "Iorgu Iordan", the department of Lexicology and Lexicography and Ph.D. student in Letters (History of the Romanian Language). Ioana-Cristina Parvu is Ph.D. assistant at the Faculty of Letters, University of Bucharest, The Department of Romanian Language for Foreigners. She graduated the Faculty of Letters (2000), University of Bucharest, the Master on Linguistic and Communication at the Faculty of Letters (2001), University of Bucharest, with the dissertation "Functions of the meta-communication in talk-show", coordinated by the University Professor Liliana Ionescu-Ruxandoiu, who has collaborated with to the publication of the book "The verbal interaction in the Contemporary Romanian Language. (Selected) corpus. Typology draft (2002)", Publishing house of the University of Bucharest. Ana Borca holds a PhD in Romanian literature form the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Letters. Intially raised and educated in the historical Maramures (a region that belongs nowadays to Ukraine), Ana is a specialist in teaching Romanian without using any other language, by emerging the students in a „lingusitic bath”.
